GEW Expands In The Americas

To support its ongoing international growth, UK headquartered GEW (EC), has invested in a substantial increase of its North American operation, GEW, Inc.

Located in Cleveland, Ohio the company’s USA operation serves the US market, Canada, Mexico and South America. 'We recently doubled the size of our facility to grow the office space to 1760 sq. feet (164 sq.m) and the warehouse to 1130 sq. feet (105 sq.m). The expansion enables us to stock fully complete UV curing systems and spares, and we now have a complete test facility with the ability to refurbish our equipment,' states Brian Wenger, vice president.

GEW, Inc. is currently staffed with an office manager, fluent in Spanish, and two experienced service engineers with a third now being sought. States David Horton, sales director for GEW in the UK, 'Our USA customer portfolio is a mix between OEM press manufacturers and retrofitting systems with end-users. The expansion means we can now offer a wider level of customer service.'
