GEW Opens New Facility In Germany

GEW has opened a new facility in Germany to support its activities in Europe. Located in Auerbach near Nurumberg the new facility will support the German, Swiss, Austrian and Eastern European markets.

Comments the company's Wolfgang Ziebell: 'We have established a completely new sales and service facility that includes a warehouse area for storage. This will be utilised for essential spares and enable us to provide customers with fast turnaround on replacement parts. With the new computer system just installed we are now also closely linked to the UK headquarters giving us the functionality of a satellite office.'

David Horton, sales director of GEW (EC), explains, 'The need for an expanded presence in Continental Europe follows our significant growth in Germany, Austria and Switzerland. This facility will enable GEW to further support the expanding markets of the Czech Republic, Slovenia, Russia, Hungary and Poland.'
