Gidue’s net of distributors around the world continues its expansion – with the announcement of a partnership with Simark d.o.o. The arrangement will allow the Italian manufacturer of narrow and mid-web printing presses to cover the eastern part of Europe – Slovenia, Croatia, Bosnia & Herzegovina, Serbia, Montenegro and Macedonia – with a dedicated agent.

Simark, established in 1999, is involved in the field of flexible packaging printed in flexo or gravure and in field of narrow web. Representing consumables and equipment for flexo, gravure and narrow web printing, Simark is led by Matjaz Mramor (pictured).

The aim of Gidue S.p.A. is to fortify the perception of its brand in that part of Europe where the packaging and printing growth per year is about 20 per cent and where the feeling is that most of the companies involved in this field will invest in new equipments to become stronger. ‘In the, at the moment, still small market,’ commented Mramor, ‘it is important to take care of every single producer. New register, Phytagora system and the introduction of Intelligence are Gidue trump cards. Possibilities for IML in line and all other equipment as lifts and trolleys around the press, makes the use of the machine really easy for operator with minimum possible waste and top quality printing.’

‘We are always prepared for long term co-operations and I hope that this new one will never stop,’ he concluded.
