GiDue appoints new agent for Mexico

GiDue S.p.A has announced the appointment of Proveedora Flexografica S.A. as its agent in Mexico, thus strengthening its position in this important area of the Latin American market. The company will be responsible for sales of the GiDue range of printing and converting equipment in the region.  


The partnership with GiDue is seen by Proveedora Flexogrfica as an answer to the demands of the Mexican packaging industry for new technologies that provide solutions that enhance printing quality, productivity and creative elements. The Mexican label industry, especially pressure sensitive, flexible packaging and corrugated carton reflect a rapid increase in flexography. More and more printing jobs are migrating from rotogravure and offset to flexo as a result of the introduction of new technologies such as CTP digital equipment and workflow software that ensure outstanding printing quality and cost efficiency. 


Commenting on the alliance Santiago Cantu Fernandez, managing director said. ‘Being able to increase our participation in the flexographic market by supplying GiDue presses is very important to us. Our experience with assessing our customers in their flexographic printing process with pre-press solutions and photopolymer plates, mounting materials, and doctor blades gives us an idea of the needs our customers have in order to satisfy this increasingly demanding printing industry.’


Located in Monterrey, one of the most important business and industrial places in the country, Proveedora Flexogrfica, distributor of DuPont Cyrel photopolymer plates, Creo/Kodak, Agfa and Tesa among the others, is able to service the market nationwide through branch offices, warehouse and distribution facilities situated in Guadalajara and Mexico City, and firm internal organization, composed by 70 people including the technical sales specialists in charge of working side by side with the customers to help them improve their results with the printing process.
