Gidue buys back its own shares
Five years ago Gidue’s management sold a 32 per cent stake in the company to major Swiss bank Banque du Gottard. Now, following the company’s progress and its fulfillment of a five-year R&D plan, managers Federico d’Annunzio and Cristina Toffolo have decided to buy back the company’s shares.
‘The enormous developing potentialities of Gidue within the global market greatly justify our investments,’ stated the managing directors. ‘We also set up a recent series of investments in order to structure our company for the new objectives foreseen by the actual five-year- development plan.’
Federico d’Annunzio, who takes care of the company’s business development, added: ‘We are going to confirm our leadership within the global labels and packaging markets, in the way we always considered the winning one: innovation and continuous improvement.’
Cristina Toffolo, taking care of business management, stated: ‘The greatest satisfaction
comes from the strong financial stability of the company, which allows us to foresee the long term development plans and the full endurableness of all investments.’
Their joint statement concluded: ‘From an emerging phase we are bringing the company towards global leadership. We have always believed and continue to believe in Gidue and in its potential. The obtained results confirm we were right and we are still walking in the right direction.’
