Gidue to display Combat press at India Label Show

Gidue, an Italian press manufacturer, will display at the India Label Show an 8-color S-Combat 370mm flexo press. The machine has been bought by local converter Webtech.

Launched six years ago, the India Label Show is now part of the Labelexpo Global Series run by Tarsus Inc. The 2008 edition will take place 3-6 December at Pragati Maidan exhibition grounds in New Delhi.

On its booth, Gidue representatives will be supported by the Reifenhuser team (pictured), the company’s distributor for the region. The co-operation has led since 2006 to the sale and installation of eight UV flexo presses, not including the one on display, and more orders are expected before the end of 2008.

‘This good order flow is not surprising at all. It is the natural outcome of two years of great marketing efforts and investments that we made in close co-operation with the Gidue team to build a solid service structure capable of supporting the local market,’ stated Sudhir Samanth, general manager of Reifenhuser India.

On the evening of December 4, Gidue, as sponsor of the Indian Label Association (LMAI) Awards 2008, will honor the leaders in the Indian label industry by prizing the best cosmetics label produced by a local label converter.

Gidue will host a press conference on December 3 from 1:10 to 1:40pm.
