Gidue penetrates Polish market

Gidue, Italian press manufacturer of flexographic and offset printing machines, has installed 19 machines in Poland through the support of its distributor for the region, Rotary Die, led by Mr Leszek Trzaskowski. Half of Gidue’s installed machines were purchased in 2007.

Masterpress is the first Polish company to have included shrink sleeve labels in their production, serving the flexible packaging market with quality solutions and diverse possibilities, using seven Gidue presses.

Last year Drukarnia Malysz, another Polish Gidue customer, invested in the company’s equipment. It’s 370 8-color E-Combat printed shrink sleeves for the beverage sector during the last Poligrafia 2007, earning Rotary Die a gold medal at the show.

‘Energetic for innovation and constantly seeking every possible improvement, the Polish market is living a renewal period both in terms of printing equipment and of products,’ said a Gidue representative. ‘The demand for multi-functional machines finds a significant solution in the Gidue press range. The Polish market is looking for equipment that will create original, high quality labeling and our data shows that the preference is towards Gidue machinery.’
