GRE Digital Solutions appoints distributor for UK and Ireland
GRE Digital Solutions has announced the appointment of Lancashire-based Sunala Ltd as exclusive distributor for its VIP 2020 digital ink jet printer in the United Kingdom and Ireland.
Dr Jules Farkas, managing director, of GRE Digital Solutions, said: ‘Globally, we continue to see the steady growth of short run printing and JIT delivery with the need to both personalize labels and supply variable data such as bar codes. The VP2020 digital color printer, powered by HP ink jet technology, provides both high quality and reliability on a variety of different jobs. The appointment of Sunala as exclusive distributor certainly strengthens our position in a very important market.’
The VP2020 can print labels one at a time or generate entire rolls with variable content such as bar codes, serial numbers and/or color codes with crisp, vibrant images from Windows based applications and includes high speed Ethernet and USB as standard.
Sue Brocklehurst, managing director, Sunala Limited, commented: ‘Our company has a history of supplying systems and services for coding, marking and labeling solutions. We already feature the VP2020 as one of our product lines and being appointed as exclusive distributor enables us to focus on offering the best support for our customers. Our VP2020 customers include specialist food retailers, tool manufacturers and cleaning product suppliers.’
The VP2020 digital ink jet printer will be shown on Sunala’s stand (No. F15) during the up-coming PPMA Show 06 to be held at the NEC in Birmingham 26-28 September 2006 and also at the Pro2Pac Food and Drink Processing and Packaging Show, co-located with the International Food and Drink Exhibition, at ExCeL in London from 18-21 March 2007.
