GSI Technologies to be featured on US TV show

GSI Technologies, an Illinois, USA-based label converter, will be featured on TV show Manufacturing Marvels on Tuesday April 3 2012 at approximately 8:30pm. Manufacturing Marvels airs as part of The Fox Business Network’s Cavuto segment (8:00pm – 9:00pm CST) and is produced by award-winning producers Bob and Jerry May and award-winning director Bryan McCullough. The two minute videos spotlight American manufacturers, their products, as well as the companies’ processes and key markets.
GSI Technologies was founded in 1985 as a label and nameplate brokerage by Suzanne and Bob Zaccone. Through the years it has expanded into printing pressure sensitive labels and conductive printed products – medical electrodes, RFID, smart card displays and electroluminescent lamps. Since 2004, it has been a part of Thrall Enterprises, a family-owned holding company with corporate offices in Chicago.
GSI Technologies’ CTO Gordon Smith said: ‘We continue to advance our engineering knowledge of functional printing to provide electronic features in thin flexible form factors for medical, display, and automotive products. We have a wealth of experience with a wide array of conductive inks, substrates, and the latest Nano materials.’
Jack Kraemer, president of GSI Technologies, sees the company as poised to take advantage of the growth in the printed electronics field. ‘We continue to invest in our capabilities for producing innovative printed electronic products for commercial sale and are honored with this Manufacturing Marvels segment.’
