Manchester-based Harland Machine Systems, a company synonymous with PS-labeling over the past 30 years, continues to support new and existing customers to meet the requirements of the recent white paper ‘Choosing Health’ issued by the UK government to promote a balanced diet and a healthy lifestyle on food and drink products.

The government’s aim is to promote a healthy lifestyle for all and, working in conjunction with the food industry, provides information to enable the consumer to make healthy choices. This includes nutrition labeling on all packaged foods and signposting foods to make it easier for the consumer to see at a glance how individual foods contribute to healthy balanced diet.
