Harper donates anilox rolls for new RIT Mark Andy LP3000
In keeping with its dedication to flexo education, global anilox supplier Harper Corporation of America recently donated 15 Platinum anilox rolls to Rochester Institute of Technology (RIT) for the school’s new Mark Andy LP 3000 press.
According to Pete Hartman, Harper’s vice president of sales, line screens on the donated rolls range from 700 to 1200, and the micron volumes range from 3.2 to 1 BCM, “which will allow students a wide range of printing options, to broaden their overall knowledge and understanding of the flexo printing process.”
Bill Poulson, a Harper GraphicSolutions technician, worked with RIT personnel to create the specifications for the rolls. Poulson is the company’s point person in the Northeast for coordinating educational activities associated with the FFTA`s Flexo In Colleges program.
