IMDA award winners announced

The In-Mold Decorating Association has announced the winners of its first annual awards competition.

The 2007 competition recognizes the industry’s best in-mold labeled packaging and in-mold decorated durable products. The winning entries were chosen based on creativity in design, engineering and innovation. The winners of the 2007 IMDA Awards are:

• Best part design – Wells’ Dairy/Blue Bunny for Gelato Cup & Lid
• Best thin wall packaging – North America IML containers for pasta sauce container
• Best IMD durable product – IGH Solutions for baby pacifiers
• Best label design – Hammer Packaging for soft drink stadium cup
• Best of show – VIP Packaging (Australia) for one kg yogurt tub
