Loftware and Seiko Epson Corporation have announced a strategic partnership to help improve customers' labeling workflows.

The partnership aims to develop cloud-based one-step color printing solutions to improve print efficiency and ease-of-use, lower barriers for on-demand color label printing and integrate the Epson ColorWorks series of color label printers with Loftware's NiceLabel Cloud platforms.

This integration enables businesses to print directly from NiceLabel Cloud to Epson ColorWorks cloud-connected printers, which is expected to improve productivity, reduce reliance on IT, minimize print errors and decrease the cost and inventory of pre-printed labels.

The Epson-Loftware partnership is in response to the growing demand for high-productivity color labeling solutions among businesses that invested in supply chain improvements during and after the covid-19 pandemic.

The collaboration will bring several important benefits to customers. It will enable businesses to print labels efficiently and quickly, reduce waste by eliminating leftover and unused label stocks when a label's format changes and eliminate the need to manage inventory of urgent procurement or customer label stocks.

‘We're partnering with Epson to help businesses of all sizes move their labeling into the cloud,’ said Paul Vogt, vice president of channel and alliance strategies at Loftware. ‘The collaboration will bring transformation to businesses' supply chain printing operations, Vogt added.
