Screen Europe partners with Dataline Solutions

Screen Europe has been named a certified partner by Dataline Solutions for its management information system software MultiPress, which now has the capability to manage Screen Europe’s label printers.   

The move enables an automated and integrated print process.

The partnership was signed in cooperation with Belgian printer Drukservice Impressa. 

Dataline Solutions has been a market leader in the Benelux graphics industry for many years with its MultiPress software. The software links all the steps in the print-production journey, from quotation calculation to logistics planning and financials. More than 1,000 active MultiPress installations are set up in 25 European countries.  

According to Christoph Krohn, product director at Dataline Solutions:, ‘MultiPress software sends ready-to-print files, including all technical information, to the printer. That includes imposed files, number of sheets, colors and the specification of the substrate. The print operators only have to press the start button to launch the print job. This extensive automation obviously offers huge efficiency gains for printers.’  

Drukservice Impressa, a Data Solutions customer since 2012, recently installed a Screen Truepress Jet L350UV SAI S label printer to expand its capacity to produce self-adhesive labels on rolls for industrial applications. The company requested that Dataline Solutions extend its MultiPress set-up, with calculation modules to produce self-adhesive labels. This would enable it to drive all its digital printers with the same system workflow, starting from the same MultiPress setup.
