AWA accepts entries for sleeve labeling competition

AWA Alexander Watson Associates has started accepting entries for the 2022 AWA International Sleeve Label Awards

AWA Alexander Watson Associates has started accepting entries for the 2022 AWA International Sleeve Label Awards, the competition which, for the last seven years, has annually documented the ground-breaking achievements that sleeve labeling has brought to the packaging industry.

The competition is sponsored by AWA Alexander Watson Associates, specialist market research company and consultants to the broad packaging and converting industries, strongly focusing on sleeve label market developments. The company host an annual sleeve labeling conference, which alternates between Europe and the USA.

Entries are accepted from printers, converters, brand owners and end users which demonstrate quality and originality in the design, production, and end-use of all types of sleeve label.

Judged by an international panel of industry experts, the AWA International Sleeve Label Awards feature four main categories: heat shrink TD sleeve labels, roll-fed MD shrink sleeves, stretch sleeves, and a special category recognizing a notable environmental contribution. At their discretion, the judges may also award a ‘best in show’ trophy.

The winners of the AWA International Sleeve Label Awards will be presented at the AWA & TLMI Sleeve Label Seminar 2022, on September 12-12, 2022, co-located with Labelexpo Americas in Chicago, parallel to two other industry seminars focusing on label release liner and narrow web pouches.

AWA Alexander Watson Associates’ website features details of the 2022 competition, including the entry form, which potential participants can access online. The entries remain open until August 24, 2022.
