Colordyne features its 3800 Series UV retrofit, a UV-LED print engine that supports up to seven colors and offers a scalable print width ranging from 4.25 to 17in. The UV retrofit can  be integrated onto existing flexo presses or converting equipment to add process color capabilities.

Taylor Buckthorpe, director of Sales and Marketing at Colordyne Technologies, said: ‘Colordyne recognizes the years of investments made into the people and equipment that make up a label converting press room. We’re excited to finally connect with customers in person and tell them all about Colordyne’s retrofit approach to digital printing. Our inkjet print engines allow label converters to seamlessly integrate process color inkjet directly onto existing equipment, leading them to increased production flexibility and profitability.’

The booth also showcases Colordyne’s new water-based inkjet engine development, the 3800 Series WB. This joint development leverages the performance of Colordyne’s 3800 Series engine design and Kao’s LunaJet inks to create a new eco-friendly, water-based inkjet platform for digital printing on labels, flexible film packaging and other porous and non-porous substrates.

Visitors can learn about Colordyne’s entire suite of inkjet products including the 1800 Series full color inkjet benchtops designed to be configured for continuous roll or sheet–fed applications. Pre-press demos are available at the booth as well as samples created with Colordyne’s inkjet technology.
