Cosmo Films hires The Communication Council for PR

The Communication Council has bagged the PR mandate for Cosmo Films for the financial year 2021-2022 to manage communications for its B2B and upcoming B2C businesses across India and global markets.

Established in 1981 by Ashok Jaipuria, Cosmo Films today is a global provider of specialty films for packaging, lamination, and labeling applications. Its product offerings include biaxially oriented polypropylene (BOPP) films, cast polypropylene (CPP) films and soon to be offered biaxially oriented polyethylene terephthalate (BOPET) films.   
 
With a range of specialty films for flexible packaging, lamination, labeling, and industrial applications, including films such as high barrier films, velvet lamination films, synthetic paper, the company claims to maintain a dominant share in the Indian market.   
 
It also exports to more than 80 countries worldwide. Its global client base includes leading flexible packaging and label face stock manufacturers such as Amcor, Constantia, Huhtamaki and Avery Dennison which service brands including Pepsico, Coca-Cola, Unilever, P&G, Britannia, Parle, CP, Reckitt Benckiser, Nestle and Mars.   
 
Pankaj Poddar, global CEO of Cosmo Films, has been with the organization for more than 10 years. During his stint, the company has entered several new streams of business including masterbatches, textile chemicals, adhesives and Pet care business.
