Dienes invests in new buildings in Germany and Poland

Dienes invested €5 million ($5.7 million) in a new knife production site in Hückeswagen, Germany. The ground-breaking ceremony at the end of 2017 marked the beginning of the complex new 4000 sqm building, which is now ready for occupancy.

Dienes has also extended the footprint of its subsidiary in Poland. Dienes Polska in Inowrocław was founded in 1997. In addition to selling Dienes products, the company also offers its own regrinding service in Poland, where knives are reground to manufacturer quality.

Due to high demand, Dienes has added another 400 sqm hall to the existing building. With new machines, the capacity is extended and the storage area is enlarged. The new building should be completed by the end of February 2019. Dienes Polska expects an increase in turnover for the year 2019.

Founded in 1913, Dienes is a specialist in straight and circular knives, knife holders and slitting systems for industrial applications.
