Drytac expands into new premises

Drytac, a manufacturer of self-adhesive materials for the print, label and industrial markets, is moving its Canadian operations into a single facility spanning over 70,000sq ft.

Drytac expands into new premises

The new premises in Brampton, Ontario, consolidates Drytac's manufacturing and distribution into one building to improve efficiency and will accommodate the entire Canadian workforce under one roof. The move will take place in stages to ensure uninterrupted material supply and production.

The more generous space also provides increased production and converting capacity for both roll and sheet products, 32ft-high ceilings to allow storage of more raw materials and finished goods to keep up with demand, ten dock-level loading bays and easier access from a major highway.

The move to a larger building follows year-on-year growth since the acquisition of MultiTac in 2013, with more expansion predicted. The new premises will feature improved R&D facilities to support Drytac's innovations in adhesive science, while a demonstration center and graphics academy are planned for the future.

‘The new state-of-the-art building in Brampton signals Drytac's continued growth while improving overall efficiency and strengthening the Drytac team,’ commented Hayden Kelley, CEO of Drytac. ‘The phased move will ensure our customers won't notice any interruption to their service, only enhanced products and support.’

The new address for Drytac in Canada is 30 Driver Road, Brampton, ON, L6T 5V2.

In addition to window, wall and floor graphic media, laminating films and mounting adhesives, Drytac's key product areas include high-performance tapes, industrial adhesives and durable labels.
