Dscoop Edge Orlando plans educational sessions

The conference is March 24 – 27, at the Gaylord Palms Resort & Convention Center in Orlando, Florida, and caters to the needs of HP graphic arts users. Sessions are defined by PSPs and industry partners who know first-hand the challenges and opportunities printers and operators face.

This year’s theme, ‘Turning Ideas into Reality,’ will focus on education, networking and cutting-tdge technology.

Edge brings together all the players in the digital print ecosystem, delivering practical, exceptionally relevant tools, training, applications, and collaboration that will help PSPs maximize their Graphic Arts technology and equipment; stretch the boundaries of digital print into new frontiers; and help them print more, print smarter, and be more profitable.

The education sessions are designed by Dscoop’s PSP-led education committee, ensuring that the knowledge and skills training is immediately applicable. The Make it Real Technical track includes more than 30 education and hands-on technical training in small-group workshops. Valuable documentation and how-to guides are included, so attendees can re-create what they learn when they’re back at the plant. As a new feature to the agenda, two highly anticipated business-focused sessions are scheduled for Sunday afternoon.

‘Where else can you get tailored, hands-on training on the latest HP Indigo technology?’ asks Keith Wilmot, CEO of Dscoop. ‘Where else can you learn about applications that are fueling the fastest-growing PSPs in the industry? Where else can you hear from the technology innovators themselves? And where else can you attend small-group sessions led by great minds like investment experts Paul Reilly and Jim Russell of New Direction Partners, or Arizona State’s CMO, Dan Dillon, or Daniel Dejan from Sapi Fine Paper, talking about Disruptive Innovations? Nowhere but Edge.’

Attendees have consistently given Dscoop’s networking opportunities top marks for expanding their professional networks, building industry relationships and creating more business through joint endeavours.

In addition to education and technical training on the latest technology, the Solutions Showcase at Dscoop Edge spotlights cutting-edge HP Indigo technology and partner solutions and applications that are driving greater innovation, productivity and growth.

‘This is a rare opportunity to see end-to-end solutions that are absolutely relevant to your business and to understanding the entire workflow -- including partners, supplies, and the latest technology,’ says Craig Hath, Dscoop’s global director of partner programs. ‘Imagine meeting one-on-one with the experts who developed the technology you’re using,’ Hath adds.
