Esko welcomes Latin American visitors for open house

Esko, supplier of integrated hardware and software for converters in the label, packaging and wide format sectors, welcomed a group of guests to its Ghent headquarters for a South American open house.

Customers from Brazil and Uruguay visited Esko's Ghent headquarters

Seven representatives from the continent’s biggest printing companies visited Esko in the Belgian city of Ghent on July 4-5 to meet with technical experts, discuss their needs and see first-hand demonstrations of the latest in packaging pre-press software and digital cutting and creasing hardware technology.

Elaine Scalise, Esko marketing manager for Latin America, said the transatlantic guests were excited to be able to spend one-on-one time with the technology teams and learn what they can do to improve and streamline their businesses.

‘We at Esko are dedicated to developing software and equipment that optimize processes so that our customers can rely on Esko as a trusted partner providing them greater control and profitability with their business,’ said Scalise. ‘Although many of our European neighbors are regular visitors to our Ghent HQ, companies on the other side of the world can sometimes feel far-removed from the center of the activity and the actual development of the technology – we aim to change that.

‘This is the first time we’ve held an open house for our customers from South America, and we are delighted that so many representatives from Brazil and Uruguay were able to make the journey to spend some time with us.’

During the stay, the international guests were treated to personal tours and demonstrations, during which they saw the full Esko ecosystem in operation – everything from pre-press readying of images and the latest advancements in workflow automation to 3D visualization and advanced cutting tables.

The delegation included colleagues from specialist fully-integrated print company M2Flex Visual Solutions and also Arquifoam, a company dedicated to design and manufacture for the construction, decoration and advertising industries which has offices across Brazil and Uruguay.

‘It’s hugely important for our customers to know that they can count on our partnership to plan which solutions from the broad Esko portfolio will meet their demand perfectly, not only for today but also moving into the future,’ concluded Scalise.
