Gietz and Vinfoil join forces

Swiss Gietz and Dutch Vinfoil, along with Chris Leary and Alex Balke, have joined forces to create Gietz-Vinfoil Americas. The company, based near Chicago, will be responsible for the sales and service of Gietz and Vinfoil machines in the region.

Gietz, a Swiss-based company founded in 1892, has experience in the US market since the late 70s with around 150 machines installed. 

‘The Gietz brand is recognized for precision foil stamping and embossing, and along with our HTF tray forming machine, we believe there is a lot of future potential in this market. We started to offer customers direct local services with Alex Balke of Gietz USA in 2018. Now with Chris’ leadership and Vinfoil products, we are positioned to offer the complete range of foil embellishment solutions. We have a great team in place and can achieve many synergies,’ commented Hansjörg Gietz, CEO of Gietz.

Alex Balke has over 12 years of technical service experience in this industry segment and will assume technical director's role. Chris Leary brings more than two decades of equipment sales experience in the folding carton industry and will be the Gietz-Vinfoil Americas president and CEO. Jody LeBlanc, with 25 years of industry experience, will also join the company being responsible for operations and customer service. 

Spare parts and technical service of Gietz machines will now be handled through Gietz- Vinfoil Americas.
