LMAI to host second edition of brand owners’ conference

Label Manufacturers’ Association of India (LMAI) is hosting the second edition of its ‘Brand owners’ perception of labels in changing scenario’ conference on March 12 in Mumbai.

The event, exclusively for printer members of the association, will also be attended by several packaging professionals who together will discuss challenges and options to better cater to labeling and packaging requirements. According to LMAI, 70 printers have already registered for the event. 

Some of the confirmed speakers for the second edition include: Suresh Gupta, former chairman, Huhtamaki-PPL; Somnath Chatterjee, general manager, procurement, Pernod Ricard India; Anil Choubey, head of packaging development, Patanjali Ayurveda; Ajay Bapat, associate director, packaging development, Emcure Pharmaceuticals; Vishwas Jangam, packaging development manager, Future Consumer Enterprises; Fazal Farooqui, deputy general manager, packaging development, Kraft Heinz Company. A special invite has been extended to Ainain Shahidi, director at SIES School of Packaging. 

These speakers will discuss requirements from a wide array of industries including food, pharmaceutical, liquor, retail, FMCG, amongst others. 

The first edition of the event was hosted by the association in New Delhi and was attended by senior professionals from Nestle, Sun Pharma Dabur India and PepsiCo.
