LMAI to host second edition of seminar on digital printing

Titled Digital Printing in Labels – The Way Forward, the event will have leading companies in the field of digital label printing making presentations on the different technologies offered by them.

While Konica Minolta will present on dry toner digital technology; HP Indigo will elaborate on liquid toner digital presses. Domino Printech & Durst Group will explain about UV inkjet digital technology and digital finishing will be discussed by Vinsak and Brotech Digital Graphics. Other supporting sponsors without a speaking slot include Avery Dennison, Pulisi and SMI Coated Products.

For this event, the association has invited brand owners to give an opportunity for them to understand the benefits of various digital technologies, and provide printers for an interactive networking session. Special invitees include Nitin Nair, associate vice president, Packaging Development at Godrej Consumer Products; Sridhar J, head packaging development at Marico; Reetika Parashar, lead packaging development, Proctor and Gamble, and Sukhdev Singh Saini, packaging lead from Colgate Palmolive.

The program is open to attend free of charge by printer members of LMAI.

The seminar will be held in the evening of March 16, followed by dinner and cocktails at ITC Maratha, Mumbai.
