Lombardi announces five sales at Labelexpo Europe

Eric Press from Brescia, Italy, ordered one press; the other four have been handled by Lombardi’s Indian, Middle East and African representative, Vinsak. 

The press in Africa has been booked by Manipal International Printing Press. This will be the company’s fourth Lombardi Synchroline and will be installed at its new plant in Nigeria. 

Prakash Printers from Ahmedabad, India, ordered its fourth Lombardi press. The company ordered an earlier machine at Labelexpo India last year. 

Dubai-based Aquarius Printing Press ordered an 8-color machine with cold foil and two die-cutting stations. The company will diversify to printing mono cartons from packaging with this investment. Aquarius has also opted for USAR slitter rewinder, flatbed die-cutting machine, roll lifter, core cutter, anilox cleaner and plate mounter from Vinsak. 

Al Hadiqa Adhesive, a label converter based in Sharjah, UAE, has also opted for a Lombardi Synchroline 430 press along with a plate mounter from Vinsak. The company is looking at diversifying into printing in-mold labels and shrink sleeves using the new press. 

Ranesh Bajaj, managing director at Vinsak, said: ‘Labelexpo Europe 2019 opened well for Lombardi and Vinsak. In addition to a stream of orders, we have made a very healthy funnel for future business.’ 

Vinsak represents Lombardi, Iwasaki, SPGPrints, Pantec and AB Graphic in India, Middle East and Africa.

‘Both the Lombardi Invicta i2 press and Iwasaki IF330 intermittent press are making waves at the show floor. Finishing products from ABG and Pantec are also huge crowd pullers and SPGPrints scored two sales too. We have, therefore, been very busy with all our principals this year,’ concluded Bajaj.
