PPC acquires Popular Ink

PPC Flexible Packaging announced the acquisition of short run specialist, Popular Ink, which is the fifth investment in line with the company’s ambitious growth strategy.

Illinois based PPC has also acquired Fisher Container and Packaging Products Corporation in 2017, Temkin International in 2018 and HFM Packaging in 2019. All businesses have now been successfully integrated into the PPC Flexible Packaging enterprise.

PPC, headquartered in Buffalo Grove is a converter known from flexible films, bags, and pouches. It focuses on cleanroom packaging for healthcare and medical applications, ‘better for you’ snack and organic brands, produce, pet food, bakery and horticulture. The firm currently operates six manufacturing facilities in Buffalo Grove, IL, Mission, KS, Rome, GA, Payson, UT, Pewaukee, WI and Colombia, South America.

Popular Ink is a short run specialist, high service specialty packaging for health and beauty and nutraceutical markets. Its key products include printed laminated roll stock, gel and stick packs, stand up pouches, labels and sleeves.
