Software specialist Tharstern has launched The Integration Lab, a new on-demand TV show for print professionals who want to speed up their workflow and get print jobs flowing swiftly through each department

The show is hosted by Murphy, workflow specialist at Tharstern, who has been helping printing companies create integrated workflows for over 20 years. His guests include Chris Smyth, strategic performance director at BCQ, and Cheryl Corbett, group systems manager at JDP, who will be talking about the integration projects they have worked on in their own companies and sharing advice on how other companies can make these projects a success.

The Integration Lab addresses daily challenges that printers will face, including how to remove silos of operation, improve communication issues and reduce administrative bottlenecks.

‘We want to help print businesses understand the benefits of integration and the technologies behind it. There’s so much that can be achieved by connecting your technology stack together, and we wanted to come up with a fun way to help share what we know. There was no better way to do this than inviting some real integration royalty on to the show – people who have created very cool connected workflows in their own companies and who have lots of fantastic experience and knowledge to pass on,’ said Murphy.

The company is planning three episodes in The Integration Lab covering different topics, such as the secret to a successful workflow integration project, JDF or API – which technology is best for the workflow integration, and why people are the most important part of any workflow integration project.
