TLMI partners with AWA for sleeve label conference

TLMI has partnered with AWA in holding this year’s Sleeve Label Industry Conference & Exhibition. The event will be a hybrid in-person/virtual event, and attendees will be able to choose to either be present at the forum or to join event sessions online via AWAVirtual.

The three-day conference program will feature presentations and panel discussions from experts across the value chain, including converters, suppliers, and brand owners. In addition to the presentations and panel discussions, the conference will feature an exhibition area to further optimize networking opportunities and knowledge sharing.

TLMI recognizes that the association’s converter members are increasingly moving beyond the scope of traditional pressure-sensitive applications and exploring other print decoration formats.

‘We’re thrilled to be partnering with our friends at AWA this year in holding the AWA TLMI Sleeve Label Industry Conference & Exhibition,’ commented TLMI’s president, Linnea Keen. ‘As we all well know, shrink and non-shrink sleeve applications have been growth markets in the narrow webspace for more than a decade. Sleeve applications optimize billboard space and allow brands to market and differentiate their products in unique and eye-catching ways.

‘We see more and more label converters entering the sleeve print decoration space each year. In partnering with AWA, TLMI is able to offer our converter and supplier members essential resources to help them seek profitable business opportunities in growth markets and the choice of attending either an in-person or virtual platform to guide their strategies.’

The conference will build on the success of previous events and the high demand of conducting business conversations in person by extending the spaces and time for networking during the meeting.

‘We have decided to offer a hybrid setup, the highlights of the conference will be available on streaming, and additional content will be available on-demand,’ added Francesco Ticca, manager of AWA Conferences & Events. ‘We are sure that this way, the AWA, and AWAVirtual hybrid conference will provide the “best of both worlds” for our delegates and sponsors.’

The conference is taking place in Cincinnati, USA, on November 10-12, 2021. Registration is available online: https://awa-bv.com/product/islce2021
