Wine labeling focuses on South African heritage

South Africans Johan du Toit and Oliver Kirsten began their wine production in 2004, when they founded The Juno Wine Company. After the company’s successful launch of shiraz and chardonnay in 2005, followed by a sauvignon blanc and cabernet blend in 2006, early 2007 saw the introduction of a rosé.

The label for the rosé bottle highlighted the creative talents of Johan’s wife, Tertia du Toit.

The duo’s second wine venture, The Grape Grinder, was launched in 2010 with the aim of creating excellently branded, consumer-focused, award-winning wines. The brand’s primary focus has been on Pinotage, that archetypical South African varietal.

Now, again using Tertia du Toit’s designs, the latest Heart of Africa cartons have appeared on the market to complement the bottles' labels, which were printed by Multi-Color Corporation (MCC).
