Xeikon to promote dry toner with new campaign

Digital printing specialist Xeikon is launching a campaign, ‘The Power of Dry Toner’, which it will use to extol the benefits of its principal technology.

The campaign will be launched at Hunkeler Innovationdays 2019, taking place February 25-28 in Switzerland. The next Xeikon Café Europe takes place March 26-28 in Lier, Belgium.

Although the company has moved into inkjet with the launch of its Panther presses and acquisition of the EFI Jetrion portfolio, dry toner remains at the heart of its business.

Xeikon is working on new toner, fusing, conditioning assembly and image quality technology developments. These are said to deliver ‘greater productivity, even higher quality and a wider application range’ on Xeikon’s duplex dry toner platforms for graphic arts and commercial print.

Dimitri Van Gaever, market segment manager at Xeikon, said: ‘Our Power of Dry Toner campaign combines all facets of our operation to reinforce the positioning of our dry toner technology. Our customers are looking for high quality solutions that are very productive on all types and weights of stocks. We also see them increasing volumes, and inkjet isn’t able to produce these applications at the required quality levels.’
