Color-Logic to begin shipping updated software

Color-Logic is to ship the new version of its software for metallic printing and special effects from the start of March.
 
The 2013 version of the Color-Logic software is fully compatible with Windows 8 and Adobe Creative Suite 6, and includes improved training tools and a simplified design interface.
 
The new version will also include full Chinese capability, in addition to German, French, Italian, Spanish and English, which are already standard. Extensive collateral material, which licensees can use to demonstrate their Color-Logic capability to clients, is additionally provided.
 
The updated software will be shipped from March 1. Customers with a maintenance contract will receive the 2013 version at no additional charge. 
 
Richard Ainge, Color-Logic chief technical officer, said: ‘We continue to add new special effects and to provide Color-Logic users with press-ready files to develop their marketing campaigns using our powerful creative materials.’
