Inx International and GE Richards expand distribution deal

Inx International has agreed an expanded distributor agreement with GE Richards Graphic Supplies. The two companies have worked closely together for years and Inx says the new agreement reflects its intention to grow its distribution sales with a fully supported distributor program.
GE Richards will be handling the entire Inx International commercial ink line including offset, sheetfed, heatset and non-heatset, flexographic and some digital products. The family-owned company celebrated its 40th anniversary in 2012 and has grown substantially to become the fourth largest graphic arts dealer in the US. Headquartered in Landisville, Pennsylvania, annual sales exceed USD $70 million with strong representation along the eastern seaboard that extends to Texas. The distributor has ten branches, including those in Houston, San Antonio, Louisville, Rochester, New York and Jacksonville, Florida.
‘This agreement cements the relationship between our two companies, who have known each other for over 10 years. The deal also outlines the new and expanded services that we have developed for GE Richards and other distributors, including equipment, training, website access and technical support,’ said Michael Brice, director of business development for Inx International.
‘Forming a strategic relationship with Inx has been a good business decision for GE Richards. From an ink point of view, it allows them to offer their customers best-in-class solutions. GE Richard’s footprint matches well with our desire to deliver products, services and support to their markets.’
GE Richards provides products for pre-press, post-press and pressroom. Gary Little, president of the ink division, said: ‘We’ve had a great relationship with Inx and this agreement allows us to offer US-manufactured products, as well as local service and support, like those we provide through our own ink blending facilities. This is really a win-win situation for our customers.’
