Inspection Systems speaks at ‘competitive advantage’ seminar
Inspection Systems Inc. will be presenting at a half-day seminar on ‘Using technology to gain competitive advantage’ during CMM in April. The seminar, held on Wednesday 20 April 2005, is sposnorerd by BST Pro Mark, one of Inspection Systems’ primary OEM partners.
Ted Schultze, president of Inspection Systems, Inc., will make a presentation entitled ‘Bar code verification for packaging – there is a better way’, where he will discuss his belief that hand-held scanners for package printing are the converting market’s equivalent of ‘Russian roulette’. His presentation will explain why 90 per cent of all converters are risking fines from major retailers and will present practical, cost effective alternatives. Schultze will discuss the benefits and savings to be expected from continuous in-line bar code inspection.
Ted Schultze is a past president of the Symbol Masters Association and was the founder of the Distribution Symbology Study Group. He has given many talks and bar code training seminars throughout his career. Customers include Uniform Code Council, Inc, Johnson & Johnson, Mark Trece, Inc., Southern Graphics Systems, Inc. and Snapple, Inc.
The seminar will take place at McCormick Place South, Chicago (exact room assignments to be confirmed) and the session will take place from 8:30 am - 1:00 pm.
