Amberley takes multiple BGM Elite iSR machines

Elite iSR is a free-standing label inspection slitter rewinder featuring standard high specification features commonly found on more expensive slitter machines, such as automatic unwind braking with an adjustable roll end, reversible rewind and machine diagnostics. It has a speed up to 300m/min running on a simple 13 amp 230V plug.

BGM identified that the introduction of new and innovative packaging designs is a regular occurrence in big brand sectors such as cosmetics, personal care, healthcare and food. But, it noted, for label printers this constant development can often mean having to find better ways to work with new and challenging substrates.

This is true for Amberley Labels, with a live demonstration of the Elite iSR working with Amberley’s substrates leading to an order for the first machine. A further two machines quickly followed.
