Blueprint Labelling gets South Africa’s first Jetsci YUV

Blueprint Labelling has added Jetsci YUV high-speed industrial inkjet imprinting system for monochrome variable data printing. The installation was done by Monotech Systems’ channel partner Packwise-Africa.

Devlin and Wade Brodowicz, directors, Blueprint Labelling, said: ‘We were looking for a solution for printing variable data for personalization of labels at high speeds with very high quality and after throughout research we found the Jetsci inkjet imprinting systems a good match which is productive and deliver great quality of printing.’  
 
Blueprint Labelling is a family-owned business based in Pinetown, Durban, established in 2012 by Devlin and Wade Brodowicz, initially trading as Label Mart. From humble beginnings in variable data printing laid the foundation for the business. As it stands today, this still forms an integral part of the business amongst other specialized and full-color printing.  
 
Jetsci YUV can be adapted to any existing setup and upgrade conventional printing web press, sheetfed, converting lines with digital (imprinting) production systems. The system can be used for a range of applications. A fully integrated inkjet system and customized stand-alone printing technology can also be designed and offered for bespoke applications, according to Monotech.  
 
Uwe Bögl, director, Packwise-Africa, commented: ‘With the first installation we’ve opened the doors for serialization/personalization and other VDP opportunities on pre-printed labels for the converters in South Africa market using high speed, high-resolution industrial inkjet printers for our partners Jetsci Global.’  
 
Packwise-Africa is a private packaging equipment agency based in Hout Bay, Cape Town established in 2015 by Bögl who is a highly experienced and passionate printing engineer with 30 years experience in packaging printing and converting. In its seven years in trade Packwise-Africa has reportedly gained a strong footprint in the South African packaging market.
