ClearTech Industries expands finishing capabilities

Canadian ClearTech Industries has invested in a Lemorau EBRM+ semi-rotary system to expand the finishing capabilities of its label department in British Columbia. The transaction has been handled by Arrow Systems, Lemorau’s distributor in North America.

The addition of the new equipment enables the Canadian company to die-cut different size labels from the same raw label material, minimizing production cost, and offering more flexibility to change sizes as needed.

‘One of the main benefits of having your label cutter is that it gives you a lot more flexibility when it comes to ordering label materials,’ said Shaan Patel of Arrow Systems. ‘When you are printing on pre-cut labels, you have to keep an inventory of each size that you are planning on printing. This becomes a logistical nightmare for a lot of companies, and a small label cutter like the EBRM can solve that in no time.’

The EBRM+ is semi-rotary finishing equipment manufactured in Portugal by Lemorau. Arrow Systems is a distributor for these systems in both the United States and Canada.
