John Dion, president of Dion Label Printing said: ‘As a leader in the narrow web printing industry with both digital and flexographic printing capabilities, we continuously strive to deliver the highest quality service and product while pushing to innovate. With the addition of this MPS EFA+ 430 multi-substrate press, our aim is to keep our technology up to date and enabling greater capacity and diversity in our product offerings. This press offers greater automation and LED curing capabilities.’

The partnership between Dion Label Printing and MPS began in 2008 with the purchase of an EF 410 with special functionality of interchangeable mandrell sizes. The same technology was applied to its second press, an EF 430.

‘We are thrilled that MPS presses have enabled us to expand our capabilities and to keep up with increasing order volumes. We look forward to the delivery of our new press as an important element in helping us to stay abreast of technical advances and changes in the industry,’ added Dion.

The sale was led by Michael Weyermann, VP of Sales and Marketing at MPS Systems North America. ‘We are thankful for Dion Label Printing’s continued trust in MPS, and we are looking forward to further extending our strong partnership that’s lasted over a decade already,’ he said.

The sale agreement was signed during the opening of MPS North America’s new Technology and Expertise Center in Philadelphia.
