Idea accepts first full LED label press in Italy

Italian printer Idea has completed acceptance testing of a 10-color Omet X6 430 with UV LED, the first full LED printing machine in Italy for the label market.

Italian printer Idea has completed acceptance testing of a 10-color Omet X6 430 with UV LED, the first full LED printing machine in Italy for the label market

The machine is dedicated to the production of premium labels, and features a complex configuration including a set of additional units for final product enhancement and a UV LED curing system provided by AMS Spectral UV.

During acceptance testing, different printing technologies have been tested on several materials, both PSA and unsupported film.

Flint was also involved in the acceptance testing process, alongside Omet and AMS Spectral UV.
