Based in Marktredwitz, Germany, Labelisten is a digital label converter specializing in short runs and customization. Since its inception in 2003, the company has had sustainability at the forefront of its business operations.

Labelisten boasts a broad customer base, primarily consisting of businesses from the food supplement industry and regional manufacturing enterprises from the food and cosmetics industries.

In 2021, the company extended its offering and invested in an HP Indigo 25K Digital Pouch Factory, an all-in-one system for on-demand production of flexible packaging – and the first of its kind in Germany.

According to HP, compared to conventional methods, the system reduces the production process from several weeks to a single shift, enabling converters to produce shorter runs economically. The entire machinery set uses an HP Indigo 25K digital press, a Karlville PackReady thermal laminator, and a Karlville Pouchmaker KS-DSUP-400.

‘We are very proud to launch Germany’s first HP Indigo 25K Digital Pouch Factory,’ said Frank Plechschmidt, owner of Labelisten. ‘The investment emphasizes our commitment to sustainability. Moreover, we are convinced that we have kick-started the digitization of the packaging industry.’
