Logo Label Printing installs Grafisk Maskinfabrik DC330MINI

Newly installed machine features UV varnishing, semi-rotary die-cutting, cold lamination, back score, slitting and dual rewinding on one single compact platform.

The DC330MINI works offline and in-line with any digital press as well with the other GM embellishment units. It is often referred to as ‘Swiss army knife converter’ as it is one of the smallest and fastest machines in its category on the market.

Tim Oates, the owner of Logo Label, said: ‘Logo Label was started in 2006 due to the growing demand for private label water for a bottle water company I owned. After several years of frustration with the printers and the availability of digital printing for short runs, I decided to start my own printing company.

‘Now 14 years later we have Indigo, Jetrion and Xeikon press. We have our original Rotoflex Vericut and a Chinese finisher. In order to keep on delivering quality on-time labels to our customers we needed to add a new finisher. We looked at many quality machines but after our due diligence, we decided to purchase the GM DC330MINI. It fits our needs and takes up a small footprint, which we needed. Now we are glad we did. My guys prefer the DC MINI for quick change overs and ease of running,’ concluded Oates.

The machine was sold and implemented by GM America team led by Jim Honeycutt – sales director at GM America.
