Based in the city of Lipetsk, near Moscow, Optiflex established its digital offering in 2019 by installing a Konica Minolta AccurioLabel 190 press, alongside a GM DC330MINI finishing line. As its digital enterprise quickly developed, Optiflex upscaled its capability by investing in an HP Indigo 6900 in March this year, closely followed by the Digicon Series 3 in June. Both installations were carried out by ABG’s Russian distributor, Nissa Centre.

‘Optiflex is a young and dynamic company,’ commenting on the investment, Optiflex’s Aleksey Golubykh. ‘We have been operating since 2012, expanding and updating our equipment almost every year. To further develop the digital side of the business, we spent some considerable time analyzing our long-term print and finishing requirements - ABG’s Digicon 3 is by far the best fit for our future needs.’

With over 30 Digicon lines installed in Russia, ABG continues to expand its presence in the region.

Matt Burton, ABG’s global sales director, added: ‘The growing market in Russia is very exciting for ABG, providing us with some real opportunities for us to expand our portfolio. Clearly Optiflex has untapped a rich seam of business for its digital initiative and we look forward to seeing the result of their new purchase going forward.’
