Print Enterprises adds Lemorau Smart-L die-cutting machine

Established in 2003 in Medina, Print Enterprises was a small quick-print shop located between Buffalo and Rochester.  

 

Over the years, it has expanded its offerings to customers and in 2016 ‘The Print Shop’ as it is known, added mail-house services and quickly grew to a major direct mailer for various market sectors. 

 

Ken Delusio, owner of Print Enterprises, said: ‘Right from the beginning, we knew we made the right choice. The staff was great – they customized the machine we needed to just what we needed and nothing more and the price was right! 

 

‘My operator was able to learn the machine in about an hour and practiced with their engineer for 2-3 hours more until he was confident in its proper and safe operation. We installed the Smart-L semi-rotary die and in an hour, we had multiple, perfect rolls completing an order of 18,000 labels. We project the Smart-L will pay for itself in about 14 months. The Smart-L is just amazing! Our main operator, Mike Fuller, actually LOVES to use it and has a smile on his while he is watching it go!’  

 

The Smart-L is one of the latest generation compact finishing machines developed at Lemorau. 

 

Completely redesigned, with a small foot print, short web path to reduce waste and intelligent software for a fast set up, this model is completely servo driven and is equipped with a die-cutting station that can work both semi rotary and rotary mode. 

 

The order from Print Enterprises was developed in 250mm web with and included the optional features chosen by the customer – QRC (Quick Remote Connection), Liner less Lamination, Speed Pack, Pressure Gauges, Easy strip waste rewinder, Air trim removal, Clear on Clear Sensor and Semi-Automatic Turret Rewinder.
