ProPrint Group installs Digicon Series 3

The new machine will complement ProPrint Group’s Screen digital press installed in December 2021, increasing overall capacity for high-quality embellished labels to grow the company’s digital labeling division. 

The latest bespoke Digicon Series 3 is a modular system allowing flexibility in finishing units to suit specific customer requirements. The machine configured for ProPrint Group includes a flexo printing station, a flatbed silkscreen, semi-rotary die-cutting, matrix waste stripping, servo driven turret rewind, auto slit knives and a 100 percent camera inspection.

AB Graphic installed the new Digicon Series 3 during the last week of March, providing training and testing on-site. ProPrint will be trialing a variety of print jobs for various sectors in liaison with customer brands and in-house ProPrint artwork to ensure every element of the set-up is perfectly calibrated and ready for print orders.
