The family-owned converter Purgina, based in Bratislava, Slovakia, is a supplier of self-adhesive labels for the wine and spirit industry in central Europe. With an upcoming 30th anniversary, Purgina decided to update its production line. According to Purgina, it can effectively react to both short and long runs, and to FMCG retail products and high-end design labels for boutique wineries.

Purgina was convinced by the machine after the demonstration of its the productivity and the quality of printing. ‘We appreciate the flexibility of the Wanjie Europe´s team during the tests in Madrid, where we could use many different jobs with many different substrates to see what the machine is capable of and if it really fits to our concept‘ said the company in a statement.

The machine was installed during the second wave of the Covid-19 pandemic; despite that, the installation went well and three weeks after delivery Purgina was fully up and running independently.
