SM Selbstklebetechnik installs first Lemorau Smart-L

Germany-based SM Selbstklebetechnik, specializing in all aspects of adhesive technology and films and adhesive tapes products, has installed a Lemorau Smart-L, a compact finishing machine, redesigned and developed with a small footprint, short web path to reduce waste and intelligent software for a fast set up.  

Michael Schön, production manager at SM Selbstklebetechnik, commented that after a short briefing, the company could set up the first job independently and was satisfied with the structure of the machine and the operating software. It also did a complete job on the first day. Lemorau Smart-L is completely servo driven and includes QRC (quick remote connection software), an electronic web guide, a rotary/semi-rotary die-cutting unit, 250 job memory and a double rewinder.  

The machine was developed with a 330mm web width according to the customer’s needs. It also incorporated, as optional features, a lamination unit prepared for liner/linerless material, a speed pack for die-cutting at a max speed of 80 meters in a minute in semi-rotary mode and bearer wipers.  

The Lemorau Smart-L can also be developed in a premium pack which can include a rotary/semi-rotary UV flexo unit, cold foil, automatic positioning of slitting knives unit and turret rewinding. Dieter Gansert Graphische Maschinen, Lemorau’s distributor and mechanical/technical support in Germany and neighboring countries, handled wholesale and installation process.
