South Africa label converter Silverline Print has invested in an 8-color Edale FL3 flexo press to help it, ‘keep up with trends’.
Silverline, an existing Edale customer, offers label products to various industries including pharmaceutical, health and beauty, and the food and beverage market.
The Gauteng-based printer’s Edale FL3 has a 350mm web width, UV drying and an array of rail mounted options including a turnbar, inter-print lamination, cold foil and a delam/relam module. It can be further upgraded in the future.

Maryna Welthagen, also co-owner at the company, added: ‘As an existing Edale customer, we are delighted to once again work alongside Edale and Floors Coetzee, Edale’s South African distributor, who has a clear understanding of our requirements and our need for service and support, meaning that Edale were the best choice for Silverline to maintain our position as a leader in the supply of labels and tags.’
Edale managing director James Boughton commented: ‘This order from Silverline marks the continued worldwide growth in sales of Edale equipment, especially within the South African market. We are delighted that Silverline has chosen the Edale FL3 and we are excited to work alongside them and offer support in the future.’
