South Africa’s Silverline Print purchases 8-color Edale FL3

Based in Gauteng, South Africa, label convertor Silverline Print has invested in an Edale FL3 flexo press, as it seeks to upgrade its printing technology to keep up with industry trends.

The 8-color, 350mm-wide flexo press is equipped with UV drying, a peel and reveal module, turnbar, lamination and delam/relam, and is due to be installed at Silverline Print in the upcoming months

Fellow co-owner Chris Welthagen added: ‘With the need to upgrade equipment to keep up with the trends, the technology within the Edale FL3 meant it was the right choice for our business.’

Closing the sale alongside Edale’s South African distributor Floors Coetzee, of Sabre Equipment, was the UK equipment manufacturer’s managing director, James Boughton, who commented: ‘This order from Silverline marks the continued worldwide growth in sales of Edale equipment, especially within the South African market.
