Installed by Vinsak, the exclusive distributor of Lombardi presses in the Indian sub-continent, this 10-color press with the first Bravo screen unit in India, also features cold foil unit, delam, relam, web turnbar, web cleaner, two die-cutting stations, sheeter and conveyor.

The company has also opted for a 430mm-wide Vinsak USAR slitter rewinder to complement the press.

During the open house, Total Print Solutions printed two-layer labels with value addition including screen and cold foiling. The press can print up to five-layer labels at a speed of 50m/min when using the Bravo screen unit.

Sandeep Zaveri, managing director at Total Print Solutions, said: ‘It was a great day for us with over 230 delegates who came to see the new press. Our focus is to expand the market reach with new capabilities, and print cartons, shrink sleeves and in-mold labels as well. We are pleased with this investment as it is an easy-to-operate and a flexible machine that gives us a lot of scope to grow.’

Ranesh Bajaj, managing director at Vinsak, added: ‘The Vinsak team is delighted to work with Total Print Solutions. The company enabled a smooth installation and training process. The open house was a huge success as a number of brand owners came to see the press and understand the new features and improved quality that can be incorporated on labels, thus, making them stand out on store shelf.’
