UAE printer buys Iwasaki press at Labelexpo

Star Labels, a subsidiary of Hotpack Packaging Industries, booked an Iwasaki TR2 UV offset semi-rotary, intermittent printing press at Labelexpo Europe. The deal was managed by Vinsak, Iwasaki’s representative in the region.

Anvar PB, technical director, said: ‘This press is equipped with one UV flexo printing station, five offset units, cold foil, lamination and slitter rewinder. Iwasaki presses have several advantages such as capability to print short run jobs with quick changeover so we can run multiple jobs without much downtime. The press generates less wastage and runs at a high speed while printing high quality labels. We will cater to lubricant, food and IT industries with jobs printed on this press.’

Naoki Iwasaki from Iwasaki said: ‘We are delighted to have our second press at Star Labels and believe this machine will be a profitable investment for the company.’

Vinsak sales AGM, Malkhan, said: ‘Hotpack is one of the biggest groups in the UAE and we are delighted to be one of its suppliers. This will prove to be a beneficial deal for all three parties involved and we are looking forward to a long term relationship with them.’
