GSI Technologies recognized as ‘prominent’ medical sensor manufacturer

GSI Technologies, a specialist in printed electronics, was named a ‘prominent participant’ in the medical sensors market by Frost & Sullivan’s recently published ‘World Printed Electronics Market’ report.

Frost & Sullivan’s report projects the printed electronics industry to grow from USD $910 million in 2011 to USD $5.04 billion by 2016. Jack Kraemer, president of GSI Technologies, sees the company as poised to take advantage of this growth: ‘GSI Technologies is very excited to play a key role for technology commercialization within the emerging market of printed electronics.’

GSI Technologies’ CTO Gordon Smith noted: ‘We continue to advance our engineering knowledge of functional printing to provide electronic features in thin flexible form factors for medical, display, and automotive products.’

GSI Technologies has worked with technology partners to develop and launch commercial products within the printed electronics area for over a decade.
